OK, who has actually bought and installed the Pacesetter headers? How did they fit at the trunk? Did you have to modify anything. I'm at the stage of needing to buy my exhaust and this is the rout I'm going to go unless there is something major wrong with these headers for use on the p body swap.

Nothing too major, highly doubt you will be keeping a full sized trunk with them.

I have a picture around here somewhere. I can get it later.

Basically the outlet comes just behind the rear cross member, almost as high as it. It would be possible to make a custom collector back there also.

Well, like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I just ordered a ceramic Plog, crossover and ported trunk side from ZZ. Thanks for your replies guys.

i wish you luck my friend. those pics are about 3 weeks old. i need to go take some new ones. i have a camaro style muffler mocked up now and everything tacked. it wasn't really hard to do, but you do have to sit back and think about for a few minutes :P i got the pacesetters because i wanted huge almost useless primaries!!! post some pics when you get your exhaust done.

Those headers will offer the easiest and highest performance exhaust for your setup.

Camaro mufflers, while convenient for dual exhaust are restrictive as hell. I had a Flowmaster with 3" inlet, and dual 2 1/2 outlets. Dropped the exhaust off at the track one day and ran 3-4 tenths faster depending on which run you compare to. I now have a Dynomax 3" offset to 3" offset muffler on there, supposed to be restriction free to 500 hp.
On the dyno with my cutout open I lost 20 hp verses running though the new muffer> It might be because of the position of the cutout and possibly sucking exhaust into the intake though. I haven't tested the cutout at the track yet with this muffler.

I've decided to run a Spin Tech muffler on my setup. I like the sound and I think they flow pretty well. I've even thought about cutting the inlet off the end and repositioning it on the side so I can go straight down from the manifold without having to weld up an "S". But I think the internals of the Spin Tech aren't design for this to work well. Might try it anyway though.

flowmaster might be loud, but i think everyone pretty much knows that they flow the least. i'm using a magnaflow muffler which flows almost twice as much as a flowmaster. either way. i want to be quiet. not some loud cammed out v6. i'll lose half a second so it won't drive me nuts :P

The cross over on the trans would be the same as it would be on any auto 3800 sc in any car.
