Years ago, I was going 300+ miles on my 87 GT. I get nervous with the guess guage any more. I keep track of MPG on my cars and on the highway I can get 30+ mpg running 65-70. When the car was new and the speed limit was 55, I would get 34-35 mpg on the road. At 200 miles ~ 3 hours of driving, I'm ready for a break, so a gas stop is reasonable.
