If I end up having to use a 3800SC off of an H body car what EXACTLY needs to be changed? I know have to get an oil filter adapter but other than that what else?

The coil pack may have to be relocated. If you use an intercooler you may have to modify the decklid. You could swap the valve covers if you want to, makes it a tad easier to put oil in. The a/c doesnt interfere with anything so you dont have to mess with it if you want to keep it.

The bracket, that the coil pack sits on, might need changed if the pulleys are pointing up. They will hit the hinge for the deck lid. Use the bracket from GTP. It points the pulleys down, away from the hinge.

The oil adapters dont need to be messed with, I think thats more of a myth than anything.

All you really should do is put on the GTP supercharger tensioner, its alot smaller like the previous post said.

We got an 05 3800SC from an Impala sitting in the garage and it looks just like the one that's in my 87GT which came from an 06 GTP with the exception that it's a series II. You will need to move or relocate the coil pack regardless of which engine you have, swap valve covers as suggested, and reverse the direction of fuel flow to/from the rail. I've reversed the series III rails w/o any problem but don't know if the series II rails can be reversed with the same amount of notching and fitting.
I agree that the oil filer adpaters should work in most applications. If you are doing a stick swap you'll need the 96-98 3800 F-Body (Camaro) flywheel that must be machined and balanced to fit.
