The 3800Sc PCM's have no attachment points for mounting so a tray is necessary to mount it. I looked for days and just found the GM part number. It is 15995679 and it sells for about $10.00.
My PCM is ocated on the engine compartment front left firewall all as far from the exhaust as possible but I will put some heat insulation around it just as an added measure of protection.
Here is what is looks like

------------------
87GT 3.4 Turbo- 0-60 5.2 seconds
2006 3800SC Series III swap in progress
Engine Controls, PCM goodies,
re-programming & odd electronics stuff

My last deal at the junkard netted me a HUGE pile of those suckers, they are great!

I have them on most of my swaps, they work well with zip ties....

not sure on the specifics, but I know they are found in blazers, and I can assume that you would only find these in 98+ cars, but I am not sure if blazers follow the same obd2 pcm rules that most other cars do.

So I would say 98+ blazers, I have found them very easy to remove in the yard, and really help retain a factory look for alot of my swaps because I keep the PCM in the engine bay somewhere.

Yep, you are correct. That is, what they are off of. I went out and looked at my 2002 S-10 Crew Cab. There is was, sitting on top of the coolant, overflow bottle.
It never came to my mind, to use that for my engine swap computer. I hope it will fits in the center console, of the Fiero.

Thanks,
Don Z.
