Am I missing something here? What plugs in there?

Anyone know what this connector thing is? (the white one in the middle of the photo...in front of that pipe) one side goes into this cylinder thingy beside the coil..

Here is a better pic.
The wires that go into it are pretty much broken, and are only being held by one thread of wire.

Any help is appreciated!!!

the white wires apears to be your tach filter, if it leads to a small round capasitor looking thing next to the coil., first pic looks normal'

Yes the white connector is your tach filter.

Do you have curse control or do you not have to push the clutch in to start the engine?

There are usually two switches on the clutch peddle. One is the safety switch for startings the engine, the other is to knock the curse off of you step on the clutch.

If not one of those two then don't know what it is.

Thanks to everyone for the quick responses!

Guess I should strip/ solder those wires on the tach filter then...one is only connected by one thread and the other is barely on there.

I do have cruise control but it doesnt work...dont know what the problem is there...could i be missing some kind of connection? I know the guy i bought it from put a new vacum canister thing on there....

Ive never tried to start the car without pressing the clutch...ive always had to with other cars.

Please don't take this the wrong way...as I make plenty of spelling typos myself.
I just thought...this one actually works great the way it is.

Being Fiero owners...I'm sure we all need a little "curse control".

Man! I was reading your post to my wife and was laughing myself to tears.

Blame it on the brain- keyboard interface.

And now I can't even go back and edit them or it would not be any fun..
