I have the exhaust manifold stud kit to use when I replace the front exhaust manifold.What are the best gaskets to use? The ones for 85 Fiero 2.8 or ones for 3.4?

3.4s are far cheaper. 2.8s looks a little beefier but I've always run with 3.4s for my 2.8s and 3.4s without problems

The best are actually for a volkswagen beetle:


I bought the 3.4L ones, snipped the extra piece between ports, and hung them on the studs. Then it's easy to put the manifold on with them in place.

Excellent post you have hudini,,what year are the volkwagen gaskets from I had ask at a v w performance shop and they did not know what i spoke of
