The front passenger tire was at 20psi and while driving the car would go to the right, the rim was very hot to touch too, is the brake stuck? I filled the tire up and everything is normal, no hot rim, no burning smell, no dragging.

well with a tire being that low rolling resistance is very high. that would cause a lot of heat and weird handling and odd noises. didnt think it would make it too hot to touch just from a low tire. The reason it gets so hot is because the rubber is flexing so much and isnt really round.

I had the same exact thing happen on my 86 MR2. I had just put new brakes on (Cryo, and very thick), and there was no clearance at all between the rotor and the pads. I had recently had my rotors machined to fit, and my ASSumption was that they were going to fit. When I drove the car a distance of approx. 4 Miles, I had significant brake problems.

My problems were:
1: My car was bogging down REALLY hard
2: It was pulling off to the left (Drivers side caliper had locked up)
3: It had heavy smoke and the smell of burning resistors coming from it
4: My drivers side front rim was too hot to touch
5: The rotor had turned blue where it had come into contact with the pad

Bottom line, if your brakes are causing you problems, you will run into these (My case was a SEVERE case)

Had the same sort of problem when i got my first fiero a few years ago.

The right front was sticking, but would release at speed. ( scared the hell out of me on the way home when the car jerked to the side suddenly ). Once i got home you couldnt even touch the rim. ( and i got the burnt electrical smell too.. another scary thing since i had just bought it. i was waiting for it to burt into flames there in the driveway.. would be just my luck )

A new caliper ( both sides, just for insurance ) took care of it.

I think you answered your own question.

But you might want to keep an eye on it for a few days, just in case.

A trashed set of wheel bearings can also cause lots of heat. Usually has noise associated with it.

Right, but I like second answers/opinions. A friend told me it shouldn't be the brake burning since it's inside the rim. But probably the burning smell was the brake.

This reminds me! When I go over a bump or large pot hole, only on the passenger side do I hear a sound, like a quick chirp.

Could be time for a new set of hub and bearings!
