Has anybody successfully repaired a rip in a rubber weatherstrip ? I was gonna try Super Glue, contact cement or black silicon, but figured i'd ask first before i start spreading gooo all over

I've had good luck using the black RTV for small tears/rips. For gouges I have used the black RTV to build up the area then covered it with black rubber tape. Some have even used wax paper to "mold" the RTV and tape it down, then after it cures remove the wax paper and tape.
