Hi Folks!
I'm wondering if anyone here has a Fiero with manual remote control mirrors (non electric). I have to replace the drivers side mirror on my son's car and the only one I could get my hands on was a manual remote mirror. The car came with electric mirrors.

I'm looking for a pic of the location of the remote control on the inner door panel (I'm assuming it goes on the inner door panel), and the escutcheon that goes around it.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Pete

Don't have any pics, but you might try looking under some dew wipe install threads. The door panel has to come off as well as the manual mirror adjuster.
Good luck.

Here's a section from Ogre's cave that shows the location of the stock manual control. (the article actually shows how to put a small pwr mirror control stalk in the stock non power bezel, but it shows the stock location).

Something to keep in mind is that the manual mirror control has a habit of warping the door panel. Reinforcing the panel around the mirror control can prevent that.

If you have a grey power mirror door panel, I'll swap you for a non-power door panel... or two.

Thanks for the offer. Is this something you need ASAP or can it wait until the winter? If you can wait until winter, it would be better for us as the car will be in storage then. I was going to just leave the control in the door and let my son control it by moving the glass itself around until this winter, then we'd try to find the pieces we need. Let me know.
