i am wanting to use my 98 blazers stereo on my fiero, but i know the wiring harnesses are different. i could cut and splice, but i really dont want to be doing that. and also my radio has that svc(scv?) thing on it. i dont know how i would hook that up. also, is there a way to hookup a amp or crossover with a factory radio?

Go to your GM dealer and get part # 16140051. It converts your factory 12 pin radio harness to the newer style of the 98 21 pin radio. About $20 -25 IIRC.

I am guessing you can use the radio from your blazer. I believe all you will need are 2 Scosche wiring adapters. One for your model 98 blazer and one for the Fiero. You then wire them together. Here is a wiring diagram

I chose the easy route and bought one off ebay. Cost about $15 more, but the wires were longer allowing easier installation and it came with the antenna adapter.

There are also posts here on the forum for installing a sub. Just don't have them handy.
