has anyone used Heculiner for their truck bed??? i need to know if its ruff and slick or goey like other bed liners. i want to know because im replacing my carpet thats in bad condition and want to put a cheap reliable and easy thing to clean in. i was thinking of herculiner from jcwhitney use it like honda used in the elements???

Honda doesn't use anything like Herculiner.. the Element flooring is plastic or rubber molded sheets. I'm not sure if you can buy anything like it in rolls from anywhere.. but try industrial flooring suppliers.

Herculiner is slick and bumpy. I've worked with a truck with it applied.

I think you mean as a sealer, sound deadener under your carpet? Or are you going without carpet?

I've got Herculiner in my truck bed and I wouldn't recommend it for your interior. It's definitely not what I'd want to look at. However, it is durable and would provide a little sound deadening. It even looks good for a few months before the gloss turns to flat black. But, my biggest concern would be the outgassing. I get headaches rather easily, and I'd suspect that the fumes would set them off every time.

no i mean as carpet , i dont like the carpet ,plus i work with glass and metal shards/slivers so my carpet goes to sheds in a few months
