Ok.. haven't seen anyone post this...( unless I missed it..) Whenever I turn into my driveway..and the suspension flexes.. I get a loud clunk form the front end.. now everything is tight up there.. my alignment is good.. But I have noticed that my front springs are not compressed straight down.. when I look at them when it's on the ground.. they are curved.. ( ( ------- ) ) and I am wondering if that's where my sound is coming from. Anybody else's like that? or are yours compressed straight down?

Check your sway bar linkage. The bushings are all probably pretty worn and loose, if so, replace.

most creaks/clunks/pops I've heard - especially when turning into a driveway are BallJoints.

it's possible that the springs may not be seated properlly in the lower a-arm, and even more possible that they are missing the isolator bushing ( looks like a doughnut ) on top of the spring. Another possibility is that the rubber a-arm bushings are rotted out. Get the front end up and a jack and try man-handling the wheels in all directions to get it to clunck to confirm.
