I was searching for oil seals to get the best deal. On some of the sites the seals were rubber. Now my thought is that rubber wont stand up to the punishment. Am I wrong. What do you think. I am not sure if the seal that I can get through the Fiero Store is rubber or metal. The pic wasn't that great. lol

Are you asking about crankshaft seals?
If not, what exactly?

Crankshaft seals are made from metal AND rubber. They have a metal core with rubber bonded over it. The rubber actually provides the seal and the metal supports it. Any seal (Fel-Pro and such) should work fine. Make sure that the surface the seal rides against is not nicked or grooved or it will leak again.
