I need to remove the rear roof outer moldings but have no idea how they are held onto the car. I know they arn't bolted since I have the headliner out and see no bolts for them. So how do they come off, I need to remove the fastback section of my car.

Also is there a C&C install manual available online anywhere???

Mike

I don't believe there is an online manual available.

The P seals (or what remains of them) needs to be removed. They are attached not only with an adhesive backing tape but also with 1/8in. rivits. Those rivits also hold on the rear outer trim, so drill those out and remove the P seal material. After that is done, look for more rivits as there sometimes are more. Once the rivits are removed, gently push the trim toward the front of the car so as not to break some small clips holding the rear of the trim panel against the rear clip. Be gentle as those can break off the trim piece without much effort.

There is also a set of clips that help hold the trim by sticking under the lip of the fastback clip, in addition to the gobs of eurethane sealant that you will have to fight with. I can't remember where I got it, but I have a copy of the C&C install manual saved on my hardrive. My email address is in my profile, go ahead and shoot me an email and I will email that manual back to you. I might even have a couple of decent pictures of those clips and the underside of the trim pieces somewhere around here.
