Just like the title suggests... I'm planning on buying a ground kit... where are some good and easy places to ground the engine, transmission, and anything else that could use it?

The factory ground strap runs from the engine block to the frame near the rear hatch hinge. You should see it near the battery.

when I re-did my grounds, I was unable to clean the ground on the bolt buried back near the right side ear hood hinge. so, I relocated my main ground to the dogbone bracket, motor side, then ran a braided cable to the other side of the dogbone for the chassis ground. it seems to have worked out pretty good sofar. if I was to add more - the trans/motor bolts is always a favorite. if you have starter issues - a starter bolt is beauty of a spot.

Ground it everywhere you can. More grounds will not hurt.

Two or three of the bolts that hold the bellhousing to the engine have studs / nuts on them - perfect for hooking up ground wires.
