After two trips to the parts store no one can find out what size allen wrench I need to get the brake calaper off the front of my 86 sport. One guy who claims he raced Fieros with nothstars in them said it was 3/8 ths but that is wwwaaaayyyyy too big. So does anyone knwo off hand so I can get my bearings changed this century. ?

It's easyer if you allso use a breaker bar (no ratchet).Just make sure your turning in the correct direction.

Ok so seriously what is the size allen or torx to use on my caliper bolts on the front of my 86 fiero??? It's not a torx T55 it is way to big I just tried it. Unfortunatally I don't have an entire set so I buy the one socket I need then use it. I is not a 3/8ths allen either it seems smaller I can fit a 1/4 allen in it loosley bu ti will grab somewhere. It also feels like a torx so would it be a torx 45??? I thought I would be done with tis project by now I have wasted 3 hours trying to get teh caliper off. ANyway andc help would be appreciated.

I think it's a Torx #50. I used to use a Torx #47, which was a little loose but was easier to get into the bolt head when it was gunked-up.
