Hello gang... I'm getting ready to construct a cold-air induction system for my 350 TPI Fiero. Spectre makes 3" tube kits, but I want to go with bigger 4" tubing. I know there are other TPI Fieros out there... I'd really love to see what other's have used.

My existing intake is long overdue for an update. I currently have the stock rubber intake elbow and a K&N filter sucking in hot engine-compartment air... that literally sucks!

Any information/pictures/suggestions appreciated!

Brett

Works for me. Old photo showing K&N location, but only one I have.

Filter sets right in pocket just behind pass side air inlet. You can service it from the bottom after jacking up right side.

That's the plan. I've already done the necessary metal trimming and trial-fit a mock system using 4" PVC pipe... now I just need to build it using actual air/intake tubing. As for side scoops, I'm working on my own design as we speak. In the meantime, there's enough air coming from the bottom of the car and it's away from the engine heat.

That's one sweet deal! If I only had the cash laying around... it's the most restrictive part on my engine right now.

BTW.... it's nice to see you guys still up-and-at-'em in my old stomping grounds! Originally from Yankton if you remember... I may be moving back there someday, we shall see!

Cali Kid setup is basically the only thing or easiest to do. I had that but when I upgraded to a slightly larger filter it didn't fit (my water pump is in there too) so I have to redesign it again.
