Fog lights or driving lights? I have been looking at all of the new cars and trying to find some that would look good. There are some on a truck at work that look good and would fill the hole pretty good. Going to have to go to the u-pull it yard and see what I can find.
PM me with the whole size if there is on, if not any size will work, I am going to be using the Cats Eye 3 in one lights, they fit and replace the turning signal just right. 1 driving light, 1 fog light, and a LED bulb for a turning signal.

You should not use the led for a turn signal, not bright enough to see when the lights are on. What i did was use the low output light as a marker light, and setup the fog lights as signal and daytime driving, so if off they signal on, or if on they signal off. Here in Alberta we are allowed white turn signals. The power to turn is run through a relay, and the front markers had to be replaced with leds to prevent feedback into the gauge cluster due to the reduced consumption from relays.
Edited to add, for this function I used 3 relays alone for the fog/ signal light setup To accomplish my goal I had to use 4 relays, of which 3 of them had to be the 5-pin style. -One of the relays was used to turn the spot light on and off. -The other 3 5-pin ralays were utilized to work the fog light and signal light function. - One switched power between two input wires going to both the other relays, powered by a switch. - The other 2 determined which wire the relay used to power the fog light, switched from the signal light circuit.
Here is a relay diagram for using the fog lights as signal lights and daytime driving lights

Here's a word of advice that should be heeded: It is best to support the fog/driving lights with a metal plate on the back side due to the nose drooping when it gets hot. (caused by the heat generated by 55 watt bulbs!)
Those are some sweet lights RickN! Those are the kind of lights that I was looking for. I wanted Hella brand with oval lights and clear lenses, not purple. Thanks again I will look for those now.
P.S. where did you buy them and how much $$?

I have purchased 3 sets of these, all from ebay. It's been 2 years ago since my last purchase though. I paid $50 for the first set and $40 for the last two sets, prices include shipping.
FYI, one of the pictures in the link below is of the Radio Shack switch that I put in the dash to control the lights (in the rear window defroster position). The lights are powered via a relay that comes with the kit, I mounted that under the hood on the bulkhead just forward of the brake master cylinder. I seem to remember that I found something that is always hot (from the GM wiring diagrams) in the harness along the drivers front wheel well to run thru the relay and power the lights. I got relay control power from the parking lights, so my driving light switch has power only when the parking lights are on. When I shut the parking lights off the driving lights shut off also.
Cool, thanks for all the info guys. I will probably purchase mine from ebay too. Also on some sites it says the Hella FF75's have two different kits- Driving Lights Kit or Fog Lights Kit. I want mine to come on when my Fog/Parking lights come on.

I went with round projector lens fog/driving lights. They match the Fiero1Fan 90mm lights very well. The body mounts behind the nose and the lens fits just inside the opening.
Wiring is easy. I used a relay and controlled it with the parking lights so the lights only come on only when the parking lights are come on. That way I can't accidently leave them on when I park the car. The switch is mounted next to the cig lighter on the console.

Excellent post and even better diy work on the cars, i need foglights bad due to bad night vision driving down my cottage road at night. Again some serious looking fog/driving light setups well done.

I like those too Oreif, they look like a perfect fit and easy to install. The price is pretty LOW, are they good quality? What brand are they?
The box said "TrailBlazer" for a brand. I have had them since 1997 so they are 10 years old. I did change the bulbs once about 3 years ago. For an off-brand set they have lasted a long time.

If you have poor night vision, I highly recommend the Hella 90mm headlight kit. They are way better than the stock headlights.
