Sunroof Interior Trim Molding

Has anyone ever found a suitable replacement for this on any of the auto supply sites? Mine might be mistaken for a fossil right now if I threw it in a pile of dirt!

I might be mistaken, but Fiero is the only car ive seen with the interior trim done the way it is around the sunroof. Fixing wrecks usually dont have me pulling out headliner or sunroofs, so could be wrong about that.

If you're talking about the push in trim that holds in the headliner material around the sunroof opening, the fiero Store sells a replacement for it. Haven't used it myself so I don't know how it compares to the original, but most of their stuff is usually pretty good.

Yes, the Fiero Store sells this and I just finished reinstalling my headliner and the trim works and looks great. Here's a picture of the work in progress:

Nice job Sourmug! I see that you are in the midst of a compete makeover of the interior. Hope it is going well for you. Also thanks for the tip. I'm gonna attempt a refurbish on the interior sometime in June . There sure are a lot of things to consider. Not to mention it's pricey to do but I'm sure it's well worth it in the end!

I'm thinking it's going to be worth it! Here's a link to my build thread if you haven't seen it, the interior work starts on this Page

I just noticed that you are in Calgary! How long have you had your Fiero?

I've had it for about 5 years now Sourmug. I bought it at Farmer Jones auto one day when my Nova blew up on me. There were two of them on the lot but the one I picked was the better one mechanically. I guess I purchased it on a bit of a lark but as I owned it longer I kinda fell in love with the vehicle because of it's nimbleness (84 SE 2.5L). I have friends in Banff and driving the 1A to Canmore is one of the most enjoyable drives in the area because of the scenery and the winding road.

It's looking a bit on the ratty side at the moment but when I discovered the forum and I saw what people were doing to these cars I was hooked! I have to do something with this wonderful little car now! I have a long way to go until I have it the way I want it (and the funds) but it's a learning experience and fun to do.

I especially had a good time reading the thread on your build. Amazing job and you certainly are a craftsman to the nth degree. I won't go into the mods that you have done as I want to look somewhat stock but who knows? You have given me a good look at what can be accomplished in a garage at home and what comes out of it is first class!

Thanks again for your answer to my question and I hope to see more amazing things come out of your thread (one of my favorites now).
