I'm getting a code 23 on my 2.8, simple, replace the MAT sensor. Well with that said, I did and I still get a code 23. Is it possible to get a brand new bad sensor? I haven't had that happen but I suppose it could, or could it be something else when a code 23 pops up?

Here is the troubleshooting guide for error code 23.

You also need to disconnect the battery for a couple of minutes to erase the stored error codes or they will still be there when you finish replacing the parts.
