You don't have a lot of choices. You can pull them and send them in and have them tested.

In order to test them in the car you need a pulser box.
This is a box that can give each injector a single pulse to fire it. By doing that you read the fuel pressure drop on each injector and you can see if they are firing the same amount. It's normally called doing a balance test.
You have to pull the upper intake to do it of course.

There is a way you can do it with an expensive scan tool. first you have to hook up an accurate fuel pressure gauge, using the scan tool at the test injector mode cycle ign. key to pump up the fuel and make a note on the pressure. test injector one and log the pressure drop. A good injector will loose @ 10 lbs. pressure. there is another tool that hooks up to one injector at a time, I have one that OTC makes that Pulses the injector one time in 500 mili seconds, 50 pulses in 10 MS, and 100 pulses in 5 MS. just remember to cycle the key to build up the pressure.
Or take them out, take them to NAPA and have them tested and cleaned like Dodgerunner said.

If you're into "Rube Goldberg" contraptions, here's one you can use to test injectors. I've done about 50 of them with this goofy gizmo. Surprisingly, it works!

Good luck!

That is a very cool way to test the injectors...

I alsorecently read someone website about making a a digital tester? He actually sells them too. I was looking for tranny swap info and ran across it. He does post on here, maybe he will read this and point the way...

I have found bad injectors just by unpluging them one at a time
if rpm's donot drop and car sounds ruffer
then you found the bad one!!!
less of a shock risk then doing the same on spark plugs
but the basic idea is the same

the other cheap test is get 6 = sized glasses and pull all the injectors and rail
and crank the motor for a short time 30 sec or a minite
and see if they put the same amount of gas in the glasses
odd high is a leaker and odd low is pluged up

------------------
Question wonder and be wierd
are you kind?
