OK, last week the guage fuse blew. I replaced it and the gauges worked until this morning (or that's when I realized it, been riding the motorcycle mostly). When the fuse blew and I replaced it, all gauges were fine except the oil pressure gauge. I thought it was a bad sending until I replaced it, but it didn't fix it. I then started looking at wiring for the oil gauge and it seemed to be fine. I even shorted that wire (tan I think) to ground and the gauge worked just fine (light too). I found that the new sending unit was bad. I put the old one back in and all was fine (go figure).

But this moring the temp, tach, and fuel are not working. The fuse is good (didn't blow out). What in the world has happened. I looked at the wiring diagram for the gauges and the found that the power is the only thing common to all gauges (and some idiot lights: blank and pink wire according to diagram). Is there a fusable link in that circuit?
Thanks,
Scott

They do have one more thing in common, all run through the C3 connector. Maybe its come loose?

Yes, its the one behind the gauge pod by your left knee. They have been known to come loose over time. Or the little copper strands get corroded. Just be careful when you re-seat it that you pinch the copper strands correctly.

The SES light also runs through here. Does your SES light up when you first turn the key on?

Also, check all your fuses, JIC.
