Okay, so I just developed a rather funky condition. When I drive, I'll come around a turn and hear a "thunk" noise from the rear of my car. It seems to come from either side. It'll also kinda throw the rear out a bit (like if you were to have gallons of water in your trunk). Now, I've replaced all the control arms (with new bushings), I have lowering springs, new tierods, poly trans mounts, etc. So, I'm thinking it's the cradle bushings gone out, causing the cradle to 'thunk' around. Either that or I need a new motor mount (which I have on me).

Any ideas on this one? Thanks a bunch guys/gals

It's might be the cradle bushing or maybe even worn engine/trans mounts.

The above and you sure it's not something in your trunk?

I had something like that driving a Reatta. It turned out the ball joint was bad. Every time Id make a right turn you could feel it bump and then oversteer a bit. Go wobble some tires.

I second that ball joint. These will often make a clunk sound when they are going bad. If it is bad replace it immediately. These can lead to a nasty accident if they actually break. Good luck.

You carry motor mounts on you? lol

Just thought of this one. Make sure you don't have broken or loose strut-to-knuckle bolts.

Thanks for all the help. I'll be taking a look at it this weekend so that I can better figure out the issue. (Oh, and I bought the engine mount prior, I just haven't put it on yet). Perhaps one of the new balljoints are bad, or even the strut-to-knuckle bolt is loose. :/

I had a wheel bearing go out and had pretty much the exact same symptoms... Clunking around and funky handling (this was just around town, and back then it was in a small town, so I was going probably 25 tops). Have a look at the bearings, but they're not cheap IIRC.

Hmm, the bearings haven't been replaced at all -- so it could be that.

Again, once the weekend comes I'll take a closer look at things. +'s for everyone's helpful comments.
