Well I have decided to replace my clutch line and am looking for a replacement. My car is an 87GT with an 88 cradle in it. So i looked through the P22 and found the part numbers for the clutch line. The 87 number is 14105670 and the 88 number is 10054238. So I decided to check the price on http://www.trademotion.com/...ex.cfm?siteid=214632 since they have good prices on GM stuff.

The price for the 87 line was $122 witch isn't too bad since the fiero store one is $160.
The price for the 88 one is only $39 at the trademotion website. How can this be so cheap???

What are the differences between the two lines?? Obviously I would rather get the one for $39 if I can make it work. Even if I have to bend it a little. Thanks

There is a big difference between the two clutch lines. I got an 88 clutchline off a parts car to replace the one on my 87GT. The entire front section where is goes through the front cross member is different. I ended up making my own line.

Thanks for the help. Hopefully the 88 line is very similar in legnth to the 87 line. If it is too short, then I would be screwed.

You should have little problems installing the line.
Minor adjustments are necessary just be careful not to kink it.
