We have a '94 Cadillac Seville STS that we're in the process of stripping down, and I plan on reusing the drivetrain for a Northstar swap into a Fiero. I'm going to use the Cadillac engine + transmission, and plan on using the Cadillac's stock PCM for engine management; and I'd like to make sure that I'm not missing any electronic pieces that I may need.
All of these components came from the trunk, and were secured to the back of the seat. I need a little help identifying what these are.
Here's the first mystery computer: Here's the best pic of the tag that I could get: The information on the tag reads: "BOSCH 0 265 106 049 4617244 35 309 98"
The next computer is: And the pic of the tag: The information on the tag reads: "Remanufactured by GM Corp. Service No. 16206426 *646426X042398102*"
The next mystery box is: And a pic of it's tag: And the tag reads: "PN 16192760 *76040616387*"
The next mystery box is: And the pic of the tag: The tag reads: "Delco Electronics UTD PN 16158276"
The next mystery box is: The only sticker on this box has this # on it: "12135007 PED 1"
The next mystery item is: It's connector looks like this: The only information on this is: "Potter & Brumfield VBA-2016 12088519"
Any help identifying these would be greatly appreciated.

Wouldn`t the 1st one == bosch --have something to do with the stereo system , reason for bringing this up is I wanted to switch to a complete bosch system in a 93 Cadi, and the forum boards there said to check in the trunk area--up near the back of the back seats for components first, just out of curiousty --do you have a bosch system? p.s. after looking over the work in-volved with up-grading a factory gm system to a factory bosch system, it just wasn`t worth it....

^^^ I believe you're talking about the factory BOSE system in the car. The Bose system has independent amplifiers connected to each of the four speakers. (And pretty big speaker boxes for the speakers in the doors). I can try to post pics of the Bose components if you'd like.
To my knowledge, none of these boxes have anything to do with the Bose stereo; and I want to make sure that I'm keeping everything that I'll need for my swap. Anything that I don't need, I'll most likely auction off on Ebay to help raise $$$ for the swap.

Your right --what the hell am I thinking of... I remember asking Ed Parks if he had any components to up grade to bose--then found out how hard it was, he actually said , if you want to drive all the way down here and give it a try --I`ll give all the parts you need to you for free..lol... I declined

This caddy does not use a BCM. It have two modules that make up the functions of a BCM. The one under the dash IPM and the one in the rear is the PZM. I think that it is a PZM, but I want to check first. PZM = Platform Zone Module. IPM = Insterment Panel Module.
In the rear you could see the AMP PZM RIM Theft module
I can not rember I will finish later

I may end up using the IPC = Instrument Panel Cluster in the Fiero, as the IPC will act as a great built in scan tool. If I were to do that, do you know if I would I need the IPM (or the PZM) to hook the IPC up to? Also, what does the PZM do?

I'm not familer with the AMP, PZM, or the RIM. What are they, and what do they do?
The theft module was easily identifiable, and was one of the few boxes that stated exactly what they were.

I'm pretty sure this one is the PMU or ECU. It has three connections. Can someone else confirm what the three connections are specifically. I haven't gotten that far in decifering my harness just yet. BTW this doesn't appear to be the original computer obviously.

I thought it might be the PCM at first, because of the three connections; but I was under the impression that in this Caddy, my PCM would be located under the dash on the passenger side.

no two seperate systems. We call them VTD Vehicle Theft Deterent and CTD Content Theft Deterent now. VTD is used to keep your car and CTD is used to keep your radio. If the door opens after it has been locked the alarm sound that is CTD. PS I will post some Info on the 93 posting I started. I will add IPC stuff and DIC Driver Information Center. On yours it may be the same. I also grabbed a Allante book and it has a BCM wow. I have never worked on an Allante.

I love ANSA. They are awsome I have had them on almost every car I have owened. Check out the 360 Dyno at the bottum under ANSA SPORT. A flow master sound the same on most cars or most car with flow masters sound the same. HUM. ANSA sounds like ANSA and ANSA is OEM for Ferrari. I had a 280z with just a ANSA tip wow. RX7 with a ANSA sound like a tin can. That is the only one that sounded bad. http://www.ansaautomotive.c...oundVideo/index.html scroll down.
