how hard or how much do you think it would cost to have a hood scoop (working) fabricated onto or for a fiero?? I was reading about how much a hood vent/scoop can help with the temperature of ur car and im sick of sitting in afternoon traffic and having my fiero hit between 180 and 220 degrees.. plus it always looks better

Do a search on here. There are many different threads covering many different styles of scoops and vents.

The price of the scoop and depending on how you wanted to install it would play into the final price, jc whitneys has some peel & sticks that look ok, if you glassed it your-self, then you will need to re-paint, which can run into some coin, heres a couple scoops to look at, Iv`e been putting this off my-self,. on the 3800Sc I took out the bottoms of the engine vents to releive heat, then found out I was running a tad lean , plus the headers weren`t helping matters back there, thats been resolved, and its allmost warm to the touch...

Just an FYI, a hood vent isn't going to help much while you're sitting in traffic. But once you get rolling, it'll bring the temperature down quick.

True, but if the fan comes on while sitting in traffic a hoodvent may help too

Yeah: I was AMAZED at how much air came out of my vent when the fan turned on!
https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/079950.html < all the info you need Acesurfer to install a hood scoop. BTW make *sure* any that you buy are *fiberglass* - the plastic ones are no good for molding in.
