i was wondering if it is safe to use a nitrous plate (between carb and manifold) on a dual plane manifold design? can i use a standard plate? or do i have to get a special designed one? thanks... pos rating to whoever helps!

if anyone has anything for sale, id be interested in buying it... plate, or direct port manifold, rpm controller, etc.

No Problem at all.

I've used plates on Dual Plane Intakes all the way up to 225HP quite a few times in the past.

PS. When buying used, make sure the area where the spray bars "exit" the plate are in good shape. As they age, get moved and bumped, some of the older plates will develop leaks around the spray bars. This is when "some people" may take them off, upgrade their system and stick you with the problem. The replacement Dual Plane plate from NOS are pretty reasonable brand new but if you do buy used, try to find someone who has upgraded to a direct port / fogger nozzles etc. Usually when you buy them from someone upgrading, you have a greater chance of getting a functional plate.

The intake is fine as any.
I have a big shot up to 500HP
direct port 225hp and a 50 hp burn out box blip
that is mounted in a second plate this pate is just a spacer
for the projection holley.
I am having elec problems right now but when it was carb
it ran great at 250 hp no problems at all.

8.92 sec 167 MPH not fast enough or fuel safe at all
afraid of lean out and kill my 20k motor so goin efi

Good luck
