So anyone have any info or details on these injectors from Accel, ACC-150615 on the Summit website. $216.69 sounds like a deal to good to be true for a set of 6 injectors.
i used them on my 2.8 and had no problems .they ' tick ' louder than stock .a real bargain compared to oem cost.
I just can't get over the price, it seems like it should fall into the "to good to be true" category! Anyone want to have a set shipped to me for a long term test? LOL
I just got a set but didn't put them in yet. Gonna put them in once I have all the other stuff to change my blown head gasket. They are a really good price though compared to about $60 an injector for stock. Will keep everyone posted on how they are after I put them in.
The Accel injectors you mention (Accel number 150615) are 15-lb. injectors, the same size as used by GM on the stock (2.8-liter) Fiero V-6 engine.
The price for those 6 Accel injectors probably seems to you "too good to be true" only because GM's injector prices for the V-6 Fiero are so high. Don't worry about their attractive price; you should be fine with the Accels.
I myself haven't used those 15-lb.Accel injectors, but I have used Accel's 17-lb. injectors (Accel number 150617) on my recently completed 3.4L V-6 engine swap to feed the 3.4L engine's slightly larger displacement. Those injectors have worked just fine for me, so I think the 15-lb. Accel injectors you mention should work just fine for you as well, provided you have a stock or a lightly modified 2.8L V-6.

I also have the 15 lb Accel injectors on my 86 GT. Mine were about $200 plus handling. Had them put in about 3000 miles ago and the engine runs just fine.
By the way, since you will be taking the intake manifold off anyways, you might want to replace the fuel pressure regulator.

Why don't you have your stock injectors cleaned and rebuilt? There is a guy on the forum who does it very meticulously at a much lower cost than full replacement.

Sounds like a good option, most of the places I've checked charge around $30 per for cleaning/rebuilding so I figured the Accel's sounded pretty good considering they were "new", $180 to clean/rebuild vs $200 for new ones.
Right now funds are preventing either option but I still like to know what my options are.
Apprecciate the responses so far, thanks

I just had Cruzin Performance service my stock injectors last summer. $12. per injector which receives new O rings, screens and pintle caps. With return shipping and a few extra clips I purchased it came to about $86.00 Excellent guy to work with and the injectors have been flawless.

That's a good suggestion but in my case it wasnt really an option because I wasnt the one doing the work. My fellow club member was going to do it in his garage and so after you strip down the top of the motor, you must send out the injectors to be cleaned which takes several days to and from. A) He didnt want to have my car in his garage/house any longer than he had to and B) once he started the project he didnt want to have to stop. So.....I got new injectors and a fuel pressure regulator while I was at it.
