Can anyone tell me if the urethane windshield sealant tubes can be used in a regular caulking gun or if they need a special gun? The tubes look to be about the same size as regular caulking tubes, but they are metal and have some kind of pull-tab on the large end. None of the guys at my local shops can tell me.

The shtuff is NASTY! Best to tape off any painted areas you don't want it on, & have the correct solvent handy for cleanup.
Also, once opened it will setup in the tube. Use it to seal any body seams that may need it, leaks around the house, things that need gluing, etc. :-)

My local windshield installer kept his warm to about 90 degrees or so. He said it helped in dispencing the product. It felt warmer than that when I felt it....

They will fit in a standard caulking gun, but use a good gun. I broke my cheap gun with this stuff cause it's real thick and you have to squeeze pretty hard to get it out of the tube.
