well, we got some new police package impala's in today, i was looking at the rear suspension on these vehicles, they have larger brakes than the factory 88 fiero's had (maybe 10.25" or so on them) and the rear knuckle assemblys looked like the fiero parts would probably bolt RIGHT onto the impala knuckle/hub assembly's using the 88 trailing arm stuff, id almost be willing to bet that the fiero's strut would bolt on also, or maybe be able to use the struts from the impala? this would be nice to find out because if it did fit, we'd have a larger bolt circle on the back with possibly larger bearings for those who drag race or autocross, but then again we'd have to figure something out on how to put a FWD bearing in it due to it not having a hole for our axles.

anyway its food for thought, maybe someone with access to a new impala at a junkyard can get a set of the knuckles and hubs and see what can be fabricated.

yes i believe the impala's are 5x114.3 but you'd have to find a hub with an axle hole that would fit in the impala's old hub circle, so who knows what bolt pattern you might end up with.
