Use a DVOM(meter) to test for power at the window. you will find 2 contacts, one on each side. One is ground and the other should read 12 volts. If you have 12v, check the grids for breaks. If you do not have 12v at the glass, you may need a new defroster relay. The relay supplies 12v high current to the defrost grid.

Rear defrost has a 30amp circut breaker, check it, 2nd one up from the bottom, on the right side of fuse box, one or more of the elements may have a crack in it, check carefully for that , your contact points, and grounds, run your test light to ground then touch each element , check for brilliance.

Well , you know the one I have with rear defrost is sitting out side with no light and cold as hell..lol.. Looks like if they are like any other cars, and have the connections at the bottom of the glass, then the seat/belt pillars will need to come off, as I could see no other connection visably with those in place. There not hard to get off, I hope I`m wrong and theres a connection easier to get at--but that would be the next place to check from the circut breaker on, (since thats ok) then the elements themselves, should be getting juice to at least there, checking there would be my next stop .
