got a 86 gt , auto, 3.4 motor w/ 2.8 intake. When it's started cold , you can barely keep it running. You have to constantly rev it up to keep it from dieing. After a minute, you can a least keep it running at a high rpm. As it warms the idle gets better and better, finally to the point you can take your foot off the gas . And then it idles great.

After searching, An iac reset may be the way to go. Everything else, tps - map senser - egr - and temp sensers have been replaced. And of course the iac. Does this sound right to any of you folks?
Second or third opinions welcome. Thanks -- BC

Sounds like you covered most of the bases, may want to check for any vac leaks, make sure your getting the correct fuel pressure, did you clean the iac passage & t.b. .. When you set the timing , did you ground the a&b terminals in the aldl connector and make sure your running 10* BTDC...

Do you have winaldl? If so check that your MAT and mainly your CTS is sending the correct info to the ecm.
Even if you replaced them you need to make sure you got the right one and the wires are good to the ecm.
Also is your IA passage clean and open?

You can read about winaldl here---best way to go for trouble shooting--it can help you pin down most problems as Dodgerunner is saying above..
