How should I go about cleaning my injectors while they're out of the car? Any special solution I should or shouldnt use? Any other precautions? I went ahead and ordered new caps and orings so I will be replacing them. Thanks all!

You really need an injector tester/cleaner. It pulses the injectors to test the solenoid and then runs a cleaner through them. You can have them cleaned and tested for anywhere from $10 to $25 each. I think there is a place cruzinperformance (IIRC) that will clean them for you as well as test them............Paul

it's about $80 including return shipping for the 6 of them from cruzinperformance. He does an excellent job and has done 2 complete sets for me, don't forget the 7th injector when you send them in, that being the cold start injector.

I had the ones in my original 2.8L cleaned and balanced for about $50 at a local shop.
They clean them and they balance the flow rates so all the injectors flow equally.
Check local speed/hot rod shops.
