Hey guys, I finally found a Delco CD player out of a 1994 Grand Prix. I was hoping that one of you guys wouldhave a wiring diagram for it. I want to test out the radio to make sure it works before the 30 day warranty expires as I wont have it installed into my car until December. Thanks guys

Um I will know this upcoming weekend. Its hard to get anything done living 4 hours away from my car up at college. This Diagram gives me enough info to hook the radio up to a power source and a few speakers. I have allot of extra wires though. Also when at the junkyard, the guy hooked it up to a jumpbox to make sure that it even powered up. The thing is that he had to use the black as the neg. and the yellow, orange, and PINK wires as positive. He said that the pink is prolly the memory or the clock, but it wont turn o w/out the pink as well. Its not that big a deal I dont think, I am buying the conversion for my car, but I bought it with an aftermarket stereo so I dont even have the original harness, it was cut out. I guess Im taking it out of my SE and I'll wire it in.

I just picked up a radio from a 95 Oldsmobile and one from a 96 Bonneville. Both have the 20 pin type harness. In order to install either into my 85GT, I ordered the adaptor harness from www.replacementradios.com $30 includes shipping. I, too have a 30 day warranty on mine and I'm sure the harness will be here in time. He also sells the later model radios, to replace those that have been fried.
The price also includes the antenna adaptor to convert to the smaller female connector in the newer radios.

according to the diagram in the post two above this the pink wire shouldnt be needed to turn on the radio. Mine wont power on when hooked to the jumper box with out pink, yellow, and orange wires together. I want to order that adapter, but i dont even have the stock harness for it to hook into.

If you have enough of the original wire left that you can splice/solder the stock connectors, I will send you a set, just pay for the shipping. I can send them overnite if needed.
