I've replaced my Duke with a 2.8. I am just finishing up with the wiring and various lines now. Next comes the throttle cable. Has anyone successfully converted a duke TC to work with a 2.8 throttle body? If so how? Pics would help.

I would also appreciate some pics of the stock 2.8 connection at the throttle body end.

I may just have to head to the wreckers to get a cable, but I'd rather work with what I have if possible.

Jay, On this post 1/2 way down you`ll see the t.b. gas pedal cable sneak in under and around. Have to look for a while at it--but you`ll see it--best I could find so far--hope it helps some.

You need the 2.8 TC unfortunately...
It is a pain to swap in, but easier than trying to convert a cable.

The Throttle cable slides into the lower opening in the bracket closest to the battery. Loops under the 90 degree roller, and then slides over the shaft in the throttle lever.

Again, you will need the cable.
