I just got a new decklid and there is a 4 plug wire hookup coming from the decklid. Where does it plugin? I believe it is for the latch.

it plugs in near the firewall it is for the power release and the trunk light. In 85 and 84 it was only a 2 wire plug as the light switch was not in the latch mechanism.

Same switch that controls the light also feeds the ajar warning light on the dash. the pigtail it plugs into comes from the harness that runs along the firewall to the C500 connector kinda just inboard of and below the battery tray.

Thanks guys! That explains why i cant find a 4 plug. The decklid i bought is off a 86 and i have an 85 :P
