Open the decklid, and prop it up if it won't stay open on its own. Then remove the trunk latch assembly (two 10mm bolts). Now look at the underside of the decklid, directly underneath the lock. You'll see a small metal plate attached to the lid with 2 philips screws. Remove the screws and pry out that metal piece (it's the lock cylinder retainer). After that, the lock cylinder should slide right out.
You'll need to transfer the actuator rod to the new lock cylinder. Then slide the cylinder in place into the decklid. You can hold the lock cylinder in place by keeping pressure on the actuator rod while you slide the retainer in. Install the retainer's screws, and then install the latch assembly. Adjust it until the lid closes properly, and you're done.
The whole job should take maybe 10 minutes, 15 if you take your time.
