I want to upgrade my fuel injectors to 19s, from the stock 15s. Engine is running too lean, planning on a chip upgrade also. Do all the Ford 19s available on Ebay fit the Fiero fuel rail? Is there certain make or model?

Appreciate the help..thanks in advance.

Yes for the most part. All the ford injectors that look like ours will fit. Come to think about it damn near all of them will work. Might wanna go with 24s or even some 3.4 dohcs are like 30ish. That way the injectors aren't running close to max and you have room for more fuel if needed down the road.

I just installed 19's in my car, turbo'd 2.8, and It's running pig rich but they do fit. I attribute the problem to the chip that is in it and am working towards gathering the information to send to Darth to get a custom chip made. I bought the design two injectors like this.

I also bought the design three injectors, but they are too short and don't have the groove for the clips so stay away from these.

I don't know how my Mustang injectors will fare yet but the fact that they are 14 ohm vs. 12 ohm bothered me a bit.

So when I am searching on E-bay how will I know if I purchased the right injectors? I dont want to buy them and then tear the car apart to find they dont fit.

Is there any way to tell for sure?

Cruizin Performance out in MN did it for me, and i highly suggest them. http://www.cruzinperformance.com/ Great stuff, and only about 100 bucks to have them cleaned and flow tested.

FYI 3.4DOHC are 24lb, what do you have done to the intake system? the 2.8L runs rich at WOT as is, without signifigant mods you will just drown it in gas.

Ive got a couple of sets of DOHC injectors 30+shiping a set

Ive also got a set off a TGP which might be 21's $60+ ship

I have a turbo, and my engine is a stroked 2.8, 3.1 and bored over 30. I have to fuel pressure turned up and I need a new ecm....so I figure I will go with a stronger injector. So I guess the Ford 19s all work?

I'm running Bosch 19s in my 3.4, using a stock FPR.
The ones I bought were identical to the ones in my wife's 4.0 Jeep six banger.
It runs "okay" (quite rich, I'm sure, but I never measured it since it was only a temporary measure) with a stock chip, but I had a custom chip burned.
Unless you're running boost or nitrous, you don't need more fuel pressure.
