I have an '88 GT that I have owned for a couple years. It is currently sitting awaiting restoration, and some transmission work. The car was hit in the front drivers side corner before I bought it. Whoever did the body work on it was...primitive in their methodology to say the least. The bumper cover droops on the drivers side, and I suspect that the damage below the cover is worse than it appears from the outside. I am thinking that the best solution might be to have the whole corner of the space frame cut off of a parts car, and welded into my car. Is there a convenient place to remove the front corner of the space frame? Does anyone have a parts car they would be willing to cut up, or is their anyone who can steer me toward a supplier? I am going home on leave in a few days, and will be able to take a more detailed look at the car, and check out how far the damage reaches, so I will know how big a piece I need from a donor car. Thanks in advance.
