Who has the WCF intake manifold for their 2.8-3.4? Just wondering if you guys are using (or even need) the PowerLink additional injection computer for added fuel on a relatively stock motor?
If it is needed, where did you guys tap off of the fuel rail to get a fuel sypply for the 7th injector? Also, does anyone have the wireing diagram for the fuel computer or any install pics?

I think running it stock should be fine. The Trueleo is a more open design and requires nothing to operate on a stock engine. Larger injectors might help but you would need some tuning to make it all work properly. I would just try it stock and see what ya think from there, it may need nothing.
Good luck and post some info if ya can.
Thanks
Neil

Well, I got it on tonight... Got all the vacuum hoses hooked up (or so I thought)... anyways, 3700rpm idle, so I'll have to look at it Friday (work and school tomorow).....

the stock (15#) will be fine on a 2.8, or even a 3.1. for a 3.4, then I'd go for the TDC injectors (17#) - but, the stock (15#) could it the 15# injectors can goto around 160 HP within their regular duty cycle

I forgot to extend the large diameter vacuum line that connects to the stock TB up to the top of the new TB The thing is like 1/2" ID, so that could probably do it... lol

Yah, I was just wondering because on their site I think WCF recommends that even on a stock motor that people upgrade and add the 7th injector setup....
I also heard word of it causing the motor to lean out at high RPM, should I be worried about anything like that? Or just bolt on the intake, extend a few vacuum lines and giver with no worries?
+s out to everybody in the thread so far

well, what motor ya got & what mods ya got? hard to answer otherwise. not gonna assume a stock 2.8, with no other mods. much of the lean in high RPM is due to the ECM chip, not the injectors.

Basically stock 2.8 used for autocross. Minimal mods for classing at auto-x. Currently only has a bit of ignition stuff and a cold air intake. The new manifold is just for a bit more high rpm power at auto-x when I need it on a long straight or somthing topping out a gear. I plan to port the exhaust manifolds soon.

Forget the seventh injector. Get a new chip made. It's not that hard if you got a laptop to log your data and send it to someone. Darth made one for me or should I say six, we about got it right. And don't drive it unless you are in the tuning mode for a new chip. If you drive it much, you could damage the motor.

It won't be driving any time soon, I've broken two trans mounts.....

dont worry about the data logging - Darth can do a good chip just by description of your mods. and, dyno run w/wide band O2 is MUCH better than logged data
