as the title says, i need a pic of the funny circle thing that goes between the upper strut mount and the strut tower of the frame.

went out in the rain, got tore up by mosquitos, cleaned it up a bit, and here you go.....i hope this is what you need. (sorry about the poor pic quality)



edit to add....that's off an 87GT. don't know if the 88's are different?

As far as I know the 88 struts are put together the same way. The part labeled 53 is a little different though. Instead of three oval shaped pieces of metal it is a solid ring.

Yes. they all do... You don't see it because it is on top of the strut assembly, but under the strut tower body sheet metal.

well, they all come from the factory that way.

the car i'm working on doesn't have them, that's why i wanted the pic, is to show the owner what part is missing.
