Is a Tranny out of a 1990 cavalier 4cyl. a getrag or does it have to be a six cyl. Also I read they come with both electrical and cable speedometer switch. Does it matter witch one you get. Can you use the fiero electric speedo gear on the cable tranny.

The quad4 I think is the only 4cyl that was attached to a getrag from the factory. And from my research the 90 cav didn't come with a quad4. Also the quad4 getrags won't bolt to the fiero engines.

I have a six cyl. getrag lined up. Can I take my parts off my fiero getrag and put them on the cavalier getrag.I am going to have it rebuilt before I put it in, so if I could I would like to save the money and not have to buy the kit from Rodney.
