Got a cradle shipped from out of state and was wondering... what is this little outlet for?



You can see it in the upper right where the horizontal and vertical come together.

Looks like part of the e brake routing. Either that or it's to refill the cradle oil...

I think that's where the cable from the parking brake cable comes down, so that's my guess as well.

My 4 banger had a round rubber bumper in this location. I'm not exactly sure what it's for. I'll get a pic of it later tonight.

haha, cradle oil.

If it is ebrake related, I'm not grasping how this connection would be used. It doesn't appear to go anywhere if you look at it's opposite side.

Yeah, that's the mount for the 4 cylinder "vibration damper". It kinda resembles a hockey puck and bolts on right there. My 84 had one.
