Well, my wife and I got the motor started Sat. overall it went very well !! Took about 5 minutes to get it started and then another 5 min. of adjustments to get it to idle. (timing, fuel pressure and TB adj, screw) Ran it for about 10- 15 min and then drained the oil. and changed the filter. It is running much better than I expected so I took it for a little drive, motor ran good, clutch working,
and no codes.....yet. Overall I am very happy !!!
I have 2 minor issues that I started a seperate thread to discuss. Radiator fan was not coming on and fuel pressure is low.

I have another thread out asking for help resolving some problems I had with the motor after I first installed it.
I appreciate all those that helped me resolve everyone of the problems.

I will mention the issues here just for reference sake.
1. I wasn't getting enough fuel pressure. I found the New Holley FPR was defective.
After seeing how it was made I decided to get my money back and make my own.
It is working great, see the pics below.
I just drilled a hole in the top of the cover, brazed a fine thred nut on top
Machined round disk knurled the edge and brazed it to a fine thread stud.
And replaced the internals.
And here you go !!

2. Another Issue was overheating. I believe it was a combination of things but I decided I did not want to
risk damaging the motor so I replaced these items. All 3 sensors/switches, relay, thermostat and
radiator cap. And filled it per Radars method he outlined for me in this thread.
Also a lot of other good info. here that was posted by others !!

https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/075265.html

3. My trunk release wasn't working, (not a motor issue but
I found it was the relay that is up under the dash by the steering column.

Here is the thread : https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/075267.html

Hope some of this info will help someone else a little when they go through there 3.4L swap !!

My wife went for a ride in it the first time last night.....she told me I have to rename the car.
She says its not "Friendly" anymore and since it is really White and very Noisy/Loud (according to her)
she wants me to name it "White Noise" .
I'll take that as a compliment !!
