Does anyone know if anyone sells the modified 84-87 front hub assembly that works with aftermarket big brake kits?

In the kits, or if you do them yourself, you need to have someone separate the stock hub from the rotor in the front, then press new studs through it. This requires a Lathe and a considerable amount of time. Does anyone sell just this hub? It's similar to the hub (with studs and bearings) on the front of the 88's. Someone said it is actually from a Grand Am possibly?

Please?!

No one? This is what it would look like kinda:

Those are from an 88, I am curious if anyone knows why they can't be used on an 84-87 with separate rotors? What was changed?

You can buy the modified hubs from West Coast Fiero. That's where I bought mine.

If you want to spend a little more and or want to save weight, RCC has aluminum ones.

I'm having a lot more trouble finding these than you would think. I'm skeptical about WCF only because I have heard horror stories that they take FOREVER to ship stuff. Plus they are across the country from me, I told them to ship it 2 day and we will see what happens. RCC was very helpful, but explained that their hubs were designed for their brake kit and may not work with others since it was 3/10" smaller. The Fiero Store will not separate the hubs from their brake kits. Darrell Morse / Fiero Modifications was also extremely helpful, but said he didn't have any in stock and it would take at least a week or two.

Well wish me luck, looks like I am going to need it.
