hi i just about got my motor swap done it is a 3800 n\a . but i have run in to a problum the fuel pump doesn't work . i hot wired it just to test fire worked like a charm . but i want to wire a relay in . so there is 4 wires on the old fuel pump relay 2 orange with black stripe , 1 tan with black stripe , one green with black stripe
what would be the RIGHT WAY to wire this up thanks brian

On the new relay you would want to wire it as follows:

Constant 12V + to pin 30
+ Voltage out to fuel pump on pin 87
Ground on Pin 85
12V with ign on to pin 86

As to which wires are which from factory, I have no idea... Once you figgure that out this would be the way to wire it... (If the pump relay uses + trigger and the pump uses switched +)

i will buy a new one then , but does it matter what kind ?
