Get a hold of http://www.v8archie.com/ for the adapter plate, unless you know someone that can make one for you.

http://www.ls1swap.com/

There are, I believe, 2 active members with DIY LS1 Swaps.
(I've been pretty inactive for a while though so there may be more now)

I also know that Archie has swapped at least 1 LS1 into a fiero, and that there is at least 1 LS1 Archie swap fiero in the hands of a customer - But I don't know if it's the same car or if Archie has started producing his LS kits yet. That is, however, why I've come back to this board. The only thing that's been keeping me from doing a 3800SC swap has been Archies "future" LS swap kit, and it seems like the R&D is done on it at least.

Hopefully those who are more in-the-know will step in...

Hah, www.ls1swap.com/forums is my site. I had the intentions of laying out the LS1 swap on the manual and the auto.

I have just about completed the install of a LS1 on the 4T65eHD... Just about 2 more days and it should be driving.

That's good news Loyde. When you get an LS1 mated to a manual drop me a PM or an email.
