Are all Fiero rear quarter panels made of the same material? The reason I'm asking is because of late I have been purchasing a number of these panels to do some mods for my GT. Until recently the panels have been of all the same material until the last purchase. Any clues?

Mike, As far as I know they where are the same material--what did you buy to make you think they may not be the same ??

I purchased a rear quarter panel off of ebay from a 84/85 SE (??) passenger side. I had purchased two sets previously from a 86/87 GT, both sides. Those two sets were of the same material as my 86 GT. Stiffer, thicker, etc. than the panel from the 84/85.

My concern is compatibility of the two materials. My plan was to use material from the 84/85 panel to customize the driver rear quarter panel from the 86/87 GT. Now I'm not too sure mixing the two materials is such a good idea.
