How does it come off? I got the wire off finally (stupid plastic holddown). Now how do I get the switch off? Yes I do have AC.

Hi, Remeber to replace that little o-ring/gasket thingie , so it doesn`t trap moisture and leave your gauge bouncing around like a fast tennis match....
