I have had a heater core leak for some time now. It's getting to the point where I can no longer drive because the windows are fogging up so bad. The weather is warming up and I don't have time to replace the core right now. I'll save that job for later in the summer. Right now I just want to bypass the hoses that go the heater core. Where are the hoses that I have to bypass located?

Front compartment, far right passenger's side, next to the firewall. The windshild washer reservoir may hinder your work-just remove it, take the 2 hoses off the heater core pipes coming out of the firewall and put a short pipe nipple between the 2 hoses with hose clamps. Do not plug the hoses off, just hook the 2 of them together.

These two hoses are different sizes and I think they are 1/2 inch and 5/8 inch. Go to AutoZone and they have a pvc fitting for this purpose. 1/2 on one side and 5/8 on the other side.

Hi, Welcome to the Forum, just a note the hose are sometimes tough to get off--take a razor blade and run a small slit in the hose around the nipple & peel away, also put something down on pass-side floor in case of leaking coolant......

Keep in mind that by the time you get the hoses off the heater core to do the bypass, you're already 75% of the way through getting the actual core itself out. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum2/HTML/043997.html
